It has certainly been a trying year for us all. We hope you and your family are healthy and well.
While Covid-19 has changed how we do some things internally, we have taken in every dog that has needed us. No care has been cancelled. We have had several catastrophic cases, which have been quite expensive. We have cared for 55 dogs already in 2020 (including rollovers from 2019 and PFCs).
Ziggy, for example, came into care in May. At 7, he has significant medical issues, which we are working through in a very systematic approach, in order to get him on his way to restored health. He is a sweet and loving boy, and we know he is grateful for the love and care he now has.
We know that times are difficult. But, if you are able, we asking you to consider a mid-year donation to BSR. Our goal is to raise $25,000 during this campaign.
