Meet Jazzy, a curly cutie, she is a 7 year old female registered Boykin. She is a lover all around, loving people and attention. Many months ago she came into BSR extremely sick with multiple issues including heart worms, seizures and crate aggression. With the patient, loving, consistent care of her very skilled foster family she is now a healthy and happy girl.
Jazzy has integrated nicely with the other dogs in her foster home . She is house trained and is now happy to go into her crate to spend the night and for short periods during the day. She can walk fine on a leash. She does have a mischievous streak and will chew on toilet paper and underwear if left unattended. She is not too happy with loud noises.
Jazzy is happiest in your lap and will cuddle for hours! She loves her foster Dad best but gets along with all respectful humans and canines alike.
Her seizures, while still with her, are well managed with medication and a careful eye that she does not get over stimulated or over heated.
The best home for Jazzy would be one that is relaxed and quiet with a predictable routine and humans who are around most of the time. She needs calm leadership so she knows the rules and then lots of time for love, attention and cuddling. Owners need to be committed to her on-going health including medication for managing her seizures.
