PFC Decker
Decker was an emergency case brought to a specialty clinic by Animal Control, having sustaining a fall from a significant height. The fall let him with his 2 front wrists damaged beyond any possibility of normal healing, and they had to be carefully repaired with pins and plates to give him a hope of mobility in the future. Decker went through 6 months of crate restriction and healing from that surgery, and then had to endure more months of restriction for treatment of heartworms. Decker also had the lens in one of his eye detach and it needed to be removed. He’s been a trooper, and has recently begun physical therapy to help those wrists and his shoulder which also bore some force from the fall. and goes for regular eye checks to monitor the other one.
