PFC Ellie

​Ellie entered BSR's care in 2021 as a senior dog. She was heartworm positive; suffered from multiple anxieties, such as separation anxiety, storm anxiety as well as various noise anxieties; and was very overweight. She underwent successful heartworm treatment and reached a healthier weight with a specialty diet and daily walks. While Ellie is now to the point where her foster mom is able to comfort her during thunderstorms and has helped her work out some of her other anxieties, she is still a work in process but living a wonderful life with a foster family who loves her just the way she is.
