PFC Lilly came into rescue at 9 years old, having been adopted by a law student from a Maryland shelter after spending 8 years with a family. She had severe anxiety issues and, after 6 months, the young lady knew Lily has more issues than she was able to handle. Upon contacting BSR, Lily was brought into the PFC program. She is now 12, She is on Prozac and thriving in a stable home environment with other dogs. One meets a PFC dog "where they are" be it a behavior or mental issue and begins to build or rebuild a trusting stable relationship. She is a loving, pleasant, and grateful dog as many rescues are or become. She can be humorous, fun, and somewhat quirky! Lily is well-loved and it is all good; Lily being Lily!
