Mollie came to BSR's care when her owner turned her in to a shelter in May, 2015. He asked to have her euthanized, as he couldn't bear to hear her screaming in pain. You see, Mollie has severe neurological issues-- an old dislocation of her right front leg, and issues with her rear locomotion. With a great treatment plan-- including medication therapy, massage, water therapy and lots of short walks, she is now weight bearing on her dislocated leg and is pain free. As she had little to no training, she went to puppy class in her golden years, passing with flying colors. She is learning to play for the first time in her life, and is always smiling-- but mostly, she loves a good nap. She and her Boykin sister, Tess, and 2 feline siblings are inseparable.
