PFC Ruby

​Ruby was surrendered to BSR by a grieving family after the owner's death. She found her way to an adopter and spent many great years with her, but her adopter developed health issues as well, and Ruby needed to come back into BSR's care. She was a slight 21 pound, 11.5-year-old senior at the time of intake. Given the number of life changes she had already endured, BSR brought her into the PFC program to give her a soft cushion for her golden years. Shortly after intake, though, she began experiencing random seizures and is in continuing care by her foster and vets to deal with those. But she is sweet as the day is long and will be loved forever in BSR's care!
