Willow was 2-year-old female who needed to overcome some house training and indoor manner issues while in care. She got along great with other dogs and learned the pleasures of chasing squirrels in the back yard, playing with squeaky toys, her dog pack, and snuggling with her people.
Willow needed a home where she could continue to be trained and exercised to fulfill her needs. She found all that and more with her adopters, who came from North Carolina to Texas to get her!
2021 Update!
On Christmas Eve two years ago we collected Willow from her wonderful foster in Texas and brought her home to North Carolina. Best Christmas Present ever! She is incredibly loved and loving. She knows her people and doesn't hold back letting us know how excited she is to be with us. She is funny and spunky and quirky and usually goes 100 miles an hour unless she's asleep! She's a 38 lb ball of muscle and wiggle butt who will hip check anyone who she wants to play with. She loves catching balls, hugs, chasing squirrels, belly rubs, Nylabones, walks, bugging her older "sister" Lily, running crazily around the back yard and late-afternoon zoomies. She comes to work with us every day, has been family since day one, and we couldn't imagine life without her.
Thank you BSR Rescue for all that you do & wishing everyone there a Happy Christmas!
