BSR Alum Baxley's (formerly Prissy) Story by Julie Harrelson

Prissy (now Baxley) came into care as a heartworm positive senior who had been through a lot of change already in her life, leading to separation anxiety for fear of being left yet again.  Her foster worked hard to give her the confidence that she would never be abandoned again and soon her anxiety gave way to a confident and loving nature.  Once cleared of the heartworms, she was ready to find her forever life!

2021 Update:

Dear BSR,
How can I ever thank you for saving my life?!!! When I think about how you rescued me, I am SOooo thankful! My life is great now! I have been loving my new life at the beach, and I'm healthy and happy loving my sibling girlkin, Sadie and my new mom & dad!   Baxley
