Brair Rose's Bio: Briar Rose came into BSR's care in June 2017. She was very thin, she had scabies, horrible ear infections and was heart worm positive.
July 2018 Update! by Tom Dolatowski
Greetings all, It is with great joy and relief that I can tell you all Briar Rose is now heart worm negative! So many BSR volunteers were a part in her journey coming to her new home and I wanted you all to know she is thriving, and brings incredible joy, and love every moment.
We would not have been able to make it without the amazing support of the BSR board and incredible volunteers. A very special thank you to Jeannine who supported us through a very scary incident and helped me navigate my way with my first experience with a heart worm positive dog. Your sincere compassion, and love, and commitment to putting the dogs needs above all is inspiring. You were always available and we were just 1 of the many LBDs you were tracking. Thank you doesn’t even begin to express our gratitude.
And Debbie Davis, Briar Rose’s first foster mom who showed her what real love and joy in a pack of dogs and cats feels like. You took her in and loved on her and started the foundation for her recovery. You’re a gem.
We wish all of you and your LBDs the best this world has to offer. A humble and heartfelt thank you.
