Cosmo's Amazing Story
by Liz LaMontagne Howard
Cosmo will be 9 years old this December. He came to us as a foster in March, 2016 and we adopted him later that year. Cosmo doesn't know he's a "mature" dog, he still thinks he's a puppy at times, prancing around the house, wiggling his butt all the time and he gets so very excited when his people walk through the door. He loves to go for walks, swim and fetch his bumper and man that boy could play and bury himself in the snow all day long! Except for the little bit of grey on his chin, we think he looks like a young pup, too!
Cosmo came to us fearful and full of anxiety. We made a commitment to him to try and help him overcome his fear and anxiety, if possible. I'm happy to say that he has become a very loving and sweet member of our family. He adores his humans and always wants to be where we are. He now readily gives kisses and loves his belly and butt rubs. He gets along great with his furbrother, Scout and we couldn't imagine Cosmo not being a part of our family!
