Curly came into BSR's care with separation and crate anxiety, so he really needed a foster and eventually an adoptive family that was always home. Even with his foster family home, he craved up close and personal human contact and was not shy about using his paws to bat at his fosters demanding their attention! He adapted well to his foster's routines, pack (another female Boykin) and child, and seemed to thrive with lots going on around him, so long as he was in the center of it all!
2020 Update!
Our little goofball is doing amazing, especially after we decided to give him a good summer shave down. He's felt so good and happy. Also, Curly's skin allergies are practically gone as we identified chicken as the bothersome protein. Now, he's just living the life of eating healthy, wrestling with his sister, napping constantly (he's the sleepiest dog we've ever seen), playing with our son, befriending the new cat, and vacationing from time to time in Blowing Rock, NC.
We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed taking and sharing them! 🙂
With love,
Brandon, Meredith, Graham, Maggie (Girlkin), Curly (Boykin), and Archie (cat)
