BSR Alum Guv'ner by Ashley Parker
Bio:
Guv'ner came into BSR's care as a young dog with a big case of separation anxiety. An early foster working in the veterinary field tried bringing him to work with her to keep working on kennel conditioning and lessening his anxieties, but it was finally determined that Guv need more "people presence" in a home environment, and LOTS of work to increase his confidence and socialization, as well as a little pharmaceutical intercention. After 4 months in care, working on these things daily, Guv'ner was offically adopted as a "special needs placement" by his long term foster family.
2020 Update:
Guv'ner is social distancing on the beach and boating riding in the SC creeks... he loves playing catch and a fast game of "chase me" every morning and night... Guv'ner wonderful addition to our family... Many Thanks to BSR!
