BSR Alum Jake #1145 by the Beck Family
Bio:
Jake came into BSR as a 1 1/2-2 year old, heartworm positive boy, with a ton of energy. Once he was cleared of the heartworms, he and his foster could begin to see what he liked and indulge his active nature. Tops on his list were exploring with his fosters outdoors and going for drives with them. He loved other dogs too, but preferred to have his people around.
2020 Update:
I wanted to start by saying thank you so much for picking us to take on Jake. Jake is doing great and having lots of fun! He is always making new friends everywhere he goes, either at sandbars or islands on our boating adventures, and even at the stores he gets to go into. He has been a great addition to the family and we can't imagine a day without him! Jake really enjoys boat rides and riding shotgun in the truck. At first Jake was a little unsure about the water and now he can't get enough. Jake also loves playing with the water hose. I can't thank y'all enough for what the Boykin Spaniel Rescue has done for us and for helping other Boykins to find their forever homes.
