Maggie Mae entered BSR's care in early 2019 having been a penned dog with little socialization. Once in care, she received thorough vetting and was found to have heartworms. Over time, she conquered the heartworms and was successfully transformed into a loving--and spirited!--little lady!
January 2020 Update: In August, we added an adorable LBD to our home, Maggie Mae. She had a marvelous foster family so our transition was fairly easy!! She truly had a rough life BEFORE BSR!!! We had some bumps along the way, but after 5 months, Maggie Mae has settled in nicely. Our normal day is a quick run outside with her big sister, Dixie. Then breakfast and the three of us take a nice long walk. We visit with all our human and doggie friends. Come home and the girls crash! If Momma or Daddy leave, Maggie Mae heads to her crate for an afternoon nap OR she sits by the front door waiting for Momma to come home. Then she can't get enough of Momma...why did you leave ME????? She IS my shadow....no matter WHERE I go, she is there!!!! Every evening, Maggie and I take a short walk around the golf course, dinner and off to the couch to chill! Dixie can be the alpha dog, but Maggie Mae REALLY lets her know who is boss!!!! It's DIXIE's bed (with Mom and Dad), but Maggie Mae DOES sneak in bed in the middle of the night!!!! She LOVES to give butterfly kisses every morning AND night!!!! We are so blessed to have such a sweet, loving little girl! Thank you BSR for giving us such a loving, sweet girl!!!!
