BSR Alum "Minnie" by Butch Norckauer Jr.
In January 2006 Minnie came to us through Boykin Spaniel Rescue as a 3 year old sick with heartworms. Since recovering she has earned four AKC Master Agility titles (Standard and Jumpers with Weaves in both Regular and Preferred Classes) and along the way been the AKC Top Agility Boykin Spaniel for the Year and Top Boykin Spaniel at the AKC Eukanuba National Agility Invitational numerous times.
In her spare time, Minnie has earned the AKC Companion Dog Excellent Obedience and Therapy Dog titles. As part of her Therapy Dog program, she brings joy to a nursing home residence by visiting a facility where residents can not have pets.
