Woodrow Wilson was a very typical, young Boykin full of energy and drive, but he was too much for his owners to handle. Woodrow needed the right home that could keep up with him as well as appreciate his enthusiasm for life! Woodrow loved adventures: parks, jogging trails, woods, farms, ranches....you name it, he was ready for it! He was also a snuggle bug who needed the right person to share his live and love with!
2021 Update!
Hello friends at Boykin Spaniel Rescue!
Sorry for being late on the update for Mr. Woodrow, we have been crazy busy at the small animal hospital I was working at in Holly Springs, NC throughout Covid. But Woodrow has been doing just great, he is truly the perfect life partner and helped me through vet school applications and interviews last fall and this spring. I was so fortunate to accept a seat at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Woodrow and I (and my horse - who is coming at the end of the month) just moved into our new apartment in Starkville, MS! I start classes next week. We are in a great neighborhood and Woodrow goes on lots of walks, trips to the barn, and has enjoyed exploring Starkville with me!
I will send some videos and photos from the life and adventures of Woodrow this year, haha! He enjoys his swims, long walks, trips to the farm, belly rubs, digging holes, chasing squirrels and just being loved. He also enjoys playing with my boyfriend's great dane, Stella and my parents dogs Carly (Boykin) and Apollo (Corgi). He truly is such a blessing and I am so fortunate. He is always excited for each new day.
The last couple photos and videos are from our move down to Starkville - checking out the new apartment and checking our the new barn where I will be keeping my horse.
He's got a big job now to get me through vet school these next four years.
Thank yall again! And lots of love! xoxo, Shelby and Woodrow
